Welcome!

With nowadays issues in public health, recently with the Influenza A (H1N1), the importance of public health (or so called community health) becomes more prominent. I would like to congratulate all the public health specialists whatever their specialties in making our earth a safe place to live. You name it, and you will find a role of a public health physician in it.

The Masters in Community Medicine Class of 2007, is considered as the last batch pursuing 4-year program since the currently master of public health (MPH) is a 1-year program followed by another 3-year program for the qualified candidate to obtain doctorate in public health (DrPH).

Once you got to know it, you'll love it. That's my personal perception on public health or community medicine.

I would like to invite all of you to write whatever pertaining to the attachments or postings after this, and also on the various topics of public health, so it can be shared among us and with the public out there.

Good luck and all the best!

Yr 2

Seen with the external examiners, (L to R) Razan, Rafizah, Hafsah, Prof Rahimah of UKM, Prof David Koh of NUS, Helmy, Filza and Valentine.
